By placing an order through our website or any other means, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Product Information and Custom Orders

Lakefe specializes in the design, manufacture, and delivery of custom mobile office desks tailored to your specific requirements. All products are made to order based on the specifications you provide.

2.1 Product Specifications

• All dimensions, materials, colors, and features must be confirmed in writing before production begins
• We reserve the right to make minor modifications to designs if necessary for structural integrity or safety
• Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes and may not reflect the exact appearance of your custom order
• Material availability may vary; we will notify you of any substitutions requiring approval

2.2 Design Consultation

We offer complimentary design consultations to ensure your custom desk meets your needs. Final specifications must be approved by both parties before manufacturing commences. Any changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and extend delivery times.

3. Ordering Process

3.1 Order Placement

Orders can be placed through our website, email, or telephone. Each order requires:

1. Complete specification details including dimensions, materials, and features
2. Delivery address and contact information
3. Payment information as outlined in Section 4
4. Written confirmation and acceptance of the quotation provided

3.2 Order Confirmation

Upon receiving your order, we will send a written confirmation to your provided email address within 48 hours. This confirmation will include all specifications, pricing, estimated production time, and delivery date. Please review this information carefully and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.

3.3 Order Acceptance

A binding contract between you and Lakefe is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion before confirmation is sent.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Custom quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be subject to change after this period due to material cost fluctuations or design modifications.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required upon order confirmation to commence production
• Balance Payment: The remaining 50% is due before delivery or collection
• Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and debit cards
• Late payments may result in delayed delivery and potential cancellation of your order

4.3 Additional Costs

Delivery charges, installation services, and any special requirements will be quoted separately and added to the final invoice. Any modifications requested after production has begun may incur additional charges based on labor and materials required.

5. Production and Delivery

5.1 Production Timeline

Standard production time for custom mobile office desks is 4-8 weeks from the date of order confirmation and receipt of deposit. Complex designs may require additional time, which will be communicated during the consultation phase. Production begins only after receipt of the deposit and final specification approval.

5.2 Delivery

We offer delivery services throughout the United Kingdom. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. We will make every reasonable effort to meet the estimated delivery date, but we shall not be liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to material shortages, transportation issues, or force majeure events.

5.3 Delivery Responsibilities

• You must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the specified address
• Access requirements (stairs, elevators, doorways) must be communicated in advance
• Failed deliveries due to customer unavailability may incur redelivery charges
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery

6. Cancellations and Returns

6.1 Cancellation by Customer

Due to the custom nature of our products, cancellations are subject to the following terms:

• Before Production Begins: Cancellations made before production commences will forfeit the 50% deposit
• After Production Begins: Cancellations after production has started will result in forfeiture of all payments made, and you may be liable for the full order value

6.2 Returns and Refunds

As all products are custom-made to your specifications, we do not offer returns or refunds except in cases of manufacturing defects or errors on our part. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence.

7. Warranty and Liability

7.1 Product Warranty

We warrant that all products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty covers:

• Structural integrity of the desk frame and components
• Proper functioning of mobile casters and adjustment mechanisms
• Manufacturing defects in materials

7.2 Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse, abuse, or negligence
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Accidents or improper installation
• Use beyond the product's specified weight capacity

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the product. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, specifications, and intellectual property created by Lakefe remain our exclusive property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our designs for any purpose other than the specific product ordered without our prior written consent. Custom designs created collaboratively with customers may be reused by Lakefe for future projects unless a specific exclusivity agreement is arranged.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal information collected during the ordering process will be used solely for order fulfillment, communication, and improving our services. 10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 12. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or placement of orders after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lakefe regarding your purchase and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations, whether written or oral.
